Jungkook has done it again – and this time, ARMY had more than 31 million reasons to celebrate.
BTS’ Jeon Jungkook has officially been crowned “Most Handsome Man Alive 2026” by Netizens Choice, securing the No. 1 spot in the global fan-voted ranking after receiving more than 31 million votes from fans around the world. The victory marks Jungkook’s second time claiming the coveted title, three years after he first took the crown in 2023.
And honestly? The internet has spoken. Again.
According to Netizens Choice, this year’s campaign ran for 21 weeks and generated an enormous wave of global participation. Jungkook alone recorded more than 370,000 hashtag votes on social media, giving him the highest social-media tally among the nominees. Combined with votes from the publication’s web polls and official app, his total surged past the 31-million mark.
For Jungkook, however, this is more than another pretty-face title. It is a repeat victory and one that shows just how consistently his global fanbase can turn up when it matters.

Jungkook Takes the Crown Again
Jungkook previously won the “Most Handsome Man Alive” title in 2023, making his 2026 victory a return to the top after a three-year gap. He was also named “Most Handsome Man in Korea” in 2024, adding yet another visual title to an already lengthy list of recognitions.
His first global win in 2023 was celebrated with a Times Square billboard in New York, creating one of those unforgettable Jungkook-and-ARMY moments. With the 2026 victory once again placing his name at the centre of a global fan-voted campaign, the tradition continues to grow.
From Seoul to New York and everywhere in between, Jungkook’s name has become almost impossible to keep out of conversations about K-pop’s most recognisable visuals.
And this time, ARMY had the receipts: 31 million-plus votes.

And Then There’s Taehyung…
If there is one thing BTS fans know, it is that the group has never exactly struggled in the visual department.
Jungkook may be holding the 2026 crown, but standing right behind him is none other than his BTS bandmate Kim Taehyung, who claimed third place in this year’s ranking.
That makes the 2026 final three particularly fun for ARMY: Jungkook at No. 1, actor Zhang Zhehan at No. 2 and Taehyung at No. 3.
And Taehyung is certainly no stranger to these lists.
Long before the 2026 results, V had already built a reputation as one of the most frequently recognised faces in global “most handsome” rankings. He was named TC Candler’s Most Handsome Face of 2017, won the Most Handsome Man in the World title from Famous STAR 101 in 2018, and topped other global visual polls in subsequent years, including Top10World’s 2020 ranking.
In other words, Taehyung being somewhere near the top of a handsome-man ranking is hardly breaking news at this point.
The man has practically made a career out of making these lists feel like a BTS side quest.

The 2026 Top Ten
The final ranking placed:
🥇 Jeon Jungkook – BTS
🥈 Zhang Zhehan
🥉 Kim Taehyung – BTS
- Josh Cullen — SB19
- Stell Ajero — SB19
- Pablo — SB19
- Lee Min Ho
- Felip Suson — SB19
- Emin Günenç
- Sho Hirano

Having two BTS members inside the top three is another reminder of the group’s extraordinary global reach. Jungkook takes the crown this year, while Taehyung once again finds himself among the world’s most celebrated faces.
For ARMY, it is also a particularly satisfying full-circle moment. Jungkook has now won the Most Handsome Man Alive title twice, while Taehyung continues his long-running legacy of dominating visual rankings across different years and publications.
More Than Just a Pretty Face
Of course, a fan-voted “most handsome” title is ultimately a popularity-driven recognition rather than an objective measurement of beauty. There is no scientific formula for deciding who is the world’s most handsome man and thankfully, there probably never will be.
But that is also what makes these polls such a fun reflection of global fandom culture.
Jungkook’s 2026 victory represents millions of individual fans taking the time to vote, share, campaign and celebrate their favourite artist. More than 31 million votes later, the result is unmistakably clear: Jungkook remains one of the most powerful names in the global K-pop fandom.
And for ARMY, there is an added bonus.
Their Golden Maknae has done it twice.
The crown may belong to Jungkook in 2026, but with Taehyung sitting comfortably in third and a history of BTS members repeatedly appearing at the top of global visual rankings, one thing is becoming increasingly difficult to argue with:
BTS really does not believe in having just one visual king.
