Ceylinco Life has once again been recognised as Sri Lanka’s most valuable insurance brand, securing the top position among insurance companies in the 2026 Brand Finance ranking of the country’s 100 Most Valuable Brands.
According to the latest Brand Finance assessment, the Ceylinco Life brand is valued at Rs. 6.7 billion and has received an AAA brand strength rating. The company ranks 25th overall in the Sri Lanka 100 ranking based on brand value.
The latest result continues Ceylinco Life’s strong performance in the annual Brand Finance rankings. In 2025, the insurer’s brand value stood at Rs. 6.45 billion, while its brand rating was AAA-. The improvement in both brand value and rating reflects the continued strength of the Ceylinco Life brand in Sri Lanka’s competitive insurance market.
Commenting on the recognition, Ceylinco Life Head of Marketing Dhiranjan Canagasabey said the value of a brand is built through sustained performance and customer confidence rather than simply being claimed.
He said the latest recognition demonstrates that Ceylinco Life continues to maintain a strong position in the minds of Sri Lankan consumers. According to Canagasabey, being named the country’s most valuable insurance brand is an important indicator of the brand’s relevance and resilience, while also placing greater responsibility on the company to continue improving the standards expected by its customers.
He further highlighted the importance of maintaining leadership within Sri Lanka’s insurance sector while simultaneously strengthening the company’s overall brand equity and value in the wider market.
