DFCC Bank has entered into a strategic partnership with John Keells IT to extend its Employee Banking Proposition to the company’s employees, providing access to a broader range of financial solutions, exclusive privileges and services designed to address their personal and family financial needs.
Formalised through a Memorandum of Understanding, the partnership brings together a comprehensive suite of benefits, including enhanced salary account privileges, personal and home loan solutions, credit and wealth management offerings, family-focused financial services, lifestyle benefits and convenient digital banking facilities.
Moving beyond the traditional concept of a salary account, DFCC Bank’s Employee Banking Proposition is designed to support employees throughout different stages of their financial journey. From managing everyday expenses and purchasing a home to building wealth and planning for their families, John Keells IT employees will have access to relevant financial solutions through a connected banking relationship with DFCC Bank.
The partnership will also enable DFCC Bank to work closely with the John Keells IT Human Resources team to better understand the financial needs of different employee groups. This collaboration is expected to facilitate access to appropriate banking solutions while simplifying selected processes related to employee and payroll requirements.
Commenting on the partnership, Asitha Pinnaduwa, Vice President and Head of Products and Propositions, Retail and Business Banking at DFCC Bank PLC, said, “Employee banking is evolving well beyond the conventional salary account. Employees increasingly expect financial solutions that reflect their lifestyles, ambitions and family needs, while organisations are placing greater emphasis on employee financial wellbeing. Through our partnership with John Keells IT, we are bringing these priorities together in a proposition that creates practical and lasting value for employees and the organisation.”
Digital accessibility remains a key component of the proposition, enabling employees to manage their banking needs with greater convenience and ease. The partnership will also be supported by targeted employee engagement and communication initiatives aimed at helping John Keells IT employees understand the available financial solutions and make the most of the benefits offered through the proposition.
The collaboration forms part of DFCC Bank’s continued expansion of its employee banking ecosystem through partnerships with leading organisations across Sri Lanka. By developing relationships that extend beyond salary processing, the bank aims to establish itself as a long-term financial partner for employees, supporting them as their financial needs, responsibilities and aspirations evolve over time.
