From the excitement of the first audition to the unforgettable moment of the crowning, Miss Grand Sri Lanka 2026 was a journey defined by confidence, individuality and the pursuit of excellence. At the heart of that journey, Beverly Hills Polo Club joined the competition as the Official Fragrance Partner, bringing its signature “Be the Champion” philosophy to the national pageant.
The partnership reached its grand finale on 31 August at Cinnamon Lakeside Colombo, where Nethaki Lokugamage was crowned Miss Grand Sri Lanka 2026. Yet, for Beverly Hills Polo Club, the significance of the collaboration extended far beyond the final evening. It was a three-month journey centred on the powerful relationship between fragrance, confidence, grooming and personal expression.
The collaboration was launched in partnership with Model with Ruki Academy, Rukmal Senanayake, National Director of Miss Grand Sri Lanka, and Tharaka Gurukanda, National Organiser. Together, the partners created an experience that encouraged contestants to look beyond the traditional expectations of a pageant and focus on developing the confidence and individuality that would help them shine at every stage.
Throughout the competition, Beverly Hills Polo Club maintained a strong presence across key milestones, from the Audition and National Costume Round to the Talent and Personality Rounds, ultimately leading to the Grand Finale. Each stage offered contestants a different platform to express themselves, while the brand complemented their journey with a focus on fragrance and personal grooming.
One of the highlights of the partnership was a series of grooming workshops centred on “The Art & Science of Fragrances”. The sessions explored the role fragrance can play in personal presentation, helping contestants understand how selecting and wearing a fragrance can become an extension of their personality and style.
For Beverly Hills Polo Club, fragrance is closely connected to the way individuals present themselves to the world. Confidence is not limited to appearance. It can be found in the way someone enters a room, carries themselves, expresses their individuality and embraces their identity.
This philosophy became an integral part of the pageant experience, with the brand encouraging contestants to cultivate what it calls a true Champion Mindset. Rather than simply preparing for a crown, the partnership sought to inspire contestants to approach every stage of the competition with confidence and purpose.
The Grand Finale marked another significant moment for Beverly Hills Polo Club in Sri Lanka with the first-ever visit of Damyan Misirdzhiev, Senior Vice President, Global Sales & Marketing, Beverly Hills Polo Club. His presence highlighted the importance of the partnership as he joined delegates and guests to witness the culmination of the contestants’ journey.
Speaking about the collaboration, Damyan Misirdzhiev said, “The nature of our brand is lifestyle, and it perfectly matches the event here, because this is something that inspires young people, connecting fragrance with confidence, individuality and personal expression.”
That connection between lifestyle and self-expression was reflected throughout Miss Grand Sri Lanka 2026. The National Costume Round celebrated cultural identity, the Talent Round showcased creativity and the Personality Round gave contestants the opportunity to reveal the individuals behind the pageant presentation.
The partnership also extended into the celebrations surrounding the crowning moment. As the newly crowned Miss Grand Sri Lanka 2026, Nethaki Lokugamage received a one-year supply of Beverly Hills Polo Club fragrances. The gesture continues the brand’s support as she prepares to represent Sri Lanka on the international stage.
The milestone comes as Beverly Hills Polo Club continues to expand its presence in Sri Lanka through the introduction of its Prestige perfume collection, represented locally by TruVic Consumer.
Ravi De Coonghe, Chief Executive Officer of TruVic Consumer (Pvt) Ltd., said, “Miss Grand Sri Lanka gave us an opportunity to bring Beverly Hills Polo Club’s ‘Be the Champion’ philosophy to life, connecting fragrance with confidence and expression. We are pleased to support the contestants and strengthen the brand’s presence here.”
The Grand Finale also provided the setting for the Sri Lankan launch of the Beverly Hills Polo Club Prestige Range, introducing a more premium expression of the brand’s fragrance portfolio to the local market.
Created for a sophisticated, executive-class audience, the Prestige Range features four distinctive variants for men and four for women. The collection brings together refined fragrance profiles, contemporary appeal and an elegant character, reflecting the values of confidence, sophistication and individuality associated with the Beverly Hills Polo Club brand.
The collection is now available through selected retail partners and locations across Sri Lanka, giving fragrance enthusiasts an opportunity to discover the latest addition to the brand’s portfolio.
Through its partnership with Miss Grand Sri Lanka 2026, Beverly Hills Polo Club demonstrated how fragrance can become part of a much larger story about confidence and identity. Rather than simply complementing a glamorous occasion, fragrance became a symbol of personal expression throughout the contestants’ journey.
And when Nethaki Lokugamage stepped forward to claim the Miss Grand Sri Lanka 2026 crown, that journey found its natural conclusion. From auditions and workshops to the final spotlight, the partnership brought the Beverly Hills Polo Club “Be the Champion” philosophy to life, celebrating a new champion ready to take her next step onto the international stage.
