Great Place To Work has announced its 200 Best Workplaces in Asia for 2026, recognising organisations across the Middle East and Asia based on employee feedback and workplace experiences.
The 2026 ranking was developed using confidential employee survey data comprising more than 3.8 million individual responses, representing the experiences of nearly 8.9 million employees across markets including Bahrain, Greater China, India, Indonesia, Israel, Japan, Kuwait, Oman, the Philippines, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, South Korea, Sri Lanka, the UAE and Vietnam.
The recognised organisations were divided into two categories based on workforce size. The first category covers 100 Best Workplaces with 50 to 499 employees, while the second recognises 100 Best Workplaces with 500 or more employees.
In Sri Lanka, 15 organisations recognised among the country’s 50 Best Workplaces for 2026 were felicitated at a Gala Awards Ceremony held on September 11 at Cinnamon Life Colombo.
The rankings are based on employee experiences relating to factors such as trust, innovation, organisational values and leadership. Great Place To Work uses this feedback to identify organisations that demonstrate a strong For All workplace experience, where employees report positive experiences regardless of their job position, employment status or demographic background.
Employees across the organisations recognised in 2026 reported an average positive workplace experience of 91 percent. Great Place To Work also highlights a connection between stronger employee experiences and improved business performance through what it describes as the Great Place To Work Effect.
Michael C. Bush, CEO of Great Place To Work, said the recognised companies are creating strong employee experiences across a diverse range of markets and highlighted the role of people in organisational success and business growth.
