Cargills Bank, a licensed commercial bank in Sri Lanka, has selected Intellect Design Arena Ltd.’s Composable eMACH.ai Core Banking Architecture as part of the bank’s ongoing digital transformation and efforts to strengthen its technology infrastructure.
The expanded partnership represents the next phase of Cargills Bank’s digital transformation journey, with the new technology architecture designed to modernise its banking systems while providing a more flexible and cloud-ready foundation for future growth.
The programme will cover several key areas of banking, including Core Banking, Lending, Trade Finance and Treasury. By bringing these functions together within a unified technology framework, the initiative is expected to support greater operational agility, resilience and long-term business development.
The modernisation programme will also focus on transforming several critical banking processes, including customer onboarding, deposits, payments, loan origination, loan management, limits and collateral management, trade finance and treasury operations.
Through the new architecture, Cargills Bank aims to create greater flexibility for introducing new financial products while supporting smoother and more personalised customer experiences.
