Hilton Sri Lanka has once again been recognised as the Best Workplace in Sri Lanka by Great Place To Work, retaining the country’s No. 1 position for the second consecutive year.
The recognition was accompanied by three additional honours, with Hilton Sri Lanka named Best Workplace in Asia in the Large category, Best Multi-National Corporation and recipient of the Industry Excellence Award for Hospitality, Hotels and Resorts.
The awards recognise Hilton’s four properties in Sri Lanka and reflect a workplace culture shaped by its Team Members, with a continued focus on professional growth, wellbeing, inclusion and creating a genuine sense of belonging.
The recognition brings together four distinct properties under a shared Hilton culture. Hilton Colombo, the Group’s flagship property in the heart of the capital, has been part of Sri Lanka’s hospitality landscape for nearly four decades, hosting generations of guests and landmark occasions. Hilton Colombo Residences, located in the centre of Colombo, has welcomed guests for nearly three decades, offering a residence-style experience built around spacious living, meaningful connections and Hilton hospitality.
In the south of the country, DoubleTree by Hilton Weerawila Rajawarna Resort is located within the Weerawila Bird Sanctuary and overlooks the waters of Weerawila Lake. Hilton Yala Resort offers a contemporary retreat close to the Yala wilderness, combining nature with locally inspired experiences.
While each property has its own character and setting, Team Members across all four hotels share a common purpose of creating memorable guest experiences through genuine hospitality.
Commenting on the recognition, Manesh Fernando, Area General Manager for Hilton Sri Lanka and General Manager of Hilton Colombo, said the awards were ultimately a reflection of the people behind the organisation.
