Sri Lankan Chartered Valuation Surveyor Wathsala Wickramanayake received Highly Commended recognition in the Woman of the Built Environment Category at RICS South Asia Awards 2026, held in Bengaluru, India, recently.
Wickramanayake, Founder and Managing Director of WikiFrank Chartered Valuers (Pvt.) Ltd, is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), with more than 15 years of experience in real estate valuation, advisory and consultancy.
Her work covers Sri Lanka and the Maldives, spanning residential, commercial, industrial, agricultural and specialised properties as well as plant, machinery and other assets.
Through WikiFrank, she provides services to individuals, banks, investors and corporations, including independent valuation reviews for financial reporting and audit purposes.
Wickramanayake also contributed to the expert group supporting the fourth edition of the RICS global professional standard on environmental, social and governance factors and sustainability in commercial property valuation.
She serves as an RICS Assessment of Professional Competence assessor and counsellor and as a LionHeart Global Ambassador.
She is also a Board Member and Capacity Building Pillar Lead of the Women’s Chamber of Industry and Commerce Sri Lanka, supporting the development of women entrepreneurs.
Wickramanayake holds an honours degree in Estate Management and Valuation from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura, where she was a gold medallist and an MBA from the Postgraduate Institute of Management.
