Hutch secures back-to-back Gold

Hutch has secured a Gold award, a Black Dragon and a Silver award at Dragons of Sri Lanka 2026, recognising the telecommunications brand’s achievements in creative communications, strategic marketing and innovation.

Hutch was the only telecommunications brand to receive recognition at this year’s awards, with all three winning campaigns developed in partnership with TBWA\Sri Lanka.

The highlight of the wins was the Gold award for Best Use of Artificial Intelligence (AI), presented for ‘The Roaming Hack’. The campaign was developed for Hutch’s roaming proposition and used AI to explore new ways of improving the customer experience when using roaming services. The campaign also received a Black Dragon under another award category.

Hutch also received a Silver award for Best Product Launch for ‘Hutch Pissuwak Ma Thamai’, the campaign supporting the launch of its Hutch 15 Apps product. The recognition highlighted the campaign’s use of creative storytelling alongside a distinctive product proposition to capture customer attention.

The three awards reflect Hutch’s approach to combining technology, creativity and customer insights in developing marketing campaigns designed to engage diverse audiences and create measurable brand impact.

The recognition also comes as Hutch continues to expand the use of AI and data-driven decision-making across different areas of its business. The company’s performance at Dragons of Sri Lanka 2026 highlights its continued focus on using technology alongside creative thinking to strengthen customer engagement and brand communication.
