David Pieris Automobiles (Private) Limited (DPA), the four-wheeler automotive arm of the David Pieris Group, has expanded its BAIC showroom network with the opening of a new showroom in Kandy, bringing the brand’s vehicle range closer to customers in the Central Province.
Located on Katugastota Road, Kandy, the new showroom provides customers in Kandy and surrounding areas with greater access to BAIC’s range of modern vehicles. The expansion further strengthens BAIC’s growing presence in the Sri Lankan automotive market and supports DPA’s efforts to make its products and services more accessible across the country.
The opening comes amid growing interest in modern, feature-rich and technologically advanced mobility solutions. Through the expansion of its showroom network, DPA is seeking to provide customers in key regions with convenient access to BAIC vehicles and professional sales assistance.
The Kandy outlet joins BAIC’s existing flagship showroom on Pannipitiya Road, Battaramulla, as well as showrooms located in Hyde Park Corner, Colombo 02, Kurunegala, Matara, Ratnapura, Jaffna and Ampara. The expanding network provides customers across several parts of Sri Lanka with opportunities to explore BAIC’s vehicle portfolio and receive assistance when selecting a vehicle suited to their requirements.
David Pieris Automobiles currently markets three BAIC models in Sri Lanka, offering options across different customer preferences and mobility needs.
The range includes the BAIC X55, a contemporary SUV that combines design, performance, technology and practicality. The BAIC BJ30 offers a distinctive SUV design aimed at customers seeking versatility and a bold driving experience, while the BAIC X3e is a fully electric vehicle reflecting BAIC’s focus on sustainable mobility and the growing transition towards electric vehicles.
With the addition of the Kandy showroom, DPA continues to expand the availability of BAIC vehicles across Sri Lanka while strengthening the brand’s customer reach through a wider islandwide showroom network.
