Prime Lands has reached a major digital milestone in Sri Lanka’s real estate industry by becoming the first real estate developer in the country to receive YouTube’s Silver Play Button after surpassing 100,000 subscribers.
The achievement comes as Prime Group marks its 30th anniversary, adding a significant digital milestone to three decades of operations, growth and innovation in Sri Lanka’s property sector.
The YouTube Silver Play Button is part of YouTube’s Creator Awards programme, which recognises channels that reach notable subscriber milestones. For Prime Lands, the recognition highlights the company’s growing focus on digital communication and content-led engagement.
The developer’s YouTube journey reflects a shift from traditional real estate marketing towards a digital-first approach, using video content, technology and storytelling to help consumers explore properties and better understand opportunities within the real estate market.
Prime Lands has since built a YouTube community of more than 600,000 subscribers, significantly expanding its digital presence and creating a platform to connect with property seekers across Sri Lanka.
Commenting on the milestone, Prime Lands CEO and Executive Director Ruminda Randeniya said the company’s YouTube journey has helped transform how people approach real estate decisions. He highlighted the role of digital content in helping audiences visualise property opportunities, understand market dynamics and make more informed decisions.
The Silver Play Button milestone comes as Prime Lands continues to expand its digital presence, combining its experience in the real estate sector with content and technology to engage a growing online audience.
