HNB Life brought together employees from across the island for its 2026 Staff Conference, a gala evening held as part of the company’s 25th anniversary celebrations.
The event marked a significant milestone in HNB Life’s journey while also recognising one of the most successful years in the company’s history. The evening celebrated the employees and teams whose continued commitment has contributed to the company’s growth and progress.
The gathering reflected on the achievements of the past year, during which HNB Life reached new milestones across business performance, customer engagement and industry recognition. The company’s progress highlighted the strength of its operations and its continued focus on delivering value to customers.
However, the celebrations remained centred on the people behind these achievements. Employees were recognised for their dedication, teamwork and belief in the company’s purpose, which have played an important role in shaping HNB Life’s journey over the past 25 years.
Executive Director and CEO Lasitha Wimalaratne emphasised the importance of employees to the organisation’s success.
“As we celebrate 25 years of our journey, it is important to remember that our greatest achievement has always been our people,” he said.
EVP and Chief People Officer Navin Rupasinghe also highlighted the importance of recognising the contribution of employees to the company’s continued progress.
“This evening is about celebrating the people who make HNB Life what it is,” he said.
