Shift Group has added another milestone to its creative journey, securing eight wins at The Dragons of Sri Lanka 2026, including two Golds and a Bronze, alongside Black Dragon accolades across several categories.
Leading the agency’s wins was ‘Fill Her Glass’, created for American Premium Water Systems for World Water Day. The campaign secured Golds for Creative Excellence and Cause, Environment or Sustainability, while also receiving a Black Dragon for Small Budget.
For Commercial Credit & Finance Sri Lanka, Shift Group’s ‘Let Her Write Her Own Story’ took aim at a deeply rooted social narrative that women need a saviour. The campaign earned a Bronze for Creative Excellence and a Black Dragon for Cause, Environment or Sustainability, highlighting the power of creative communication to question established perceptions around women and society.
Shift Group also adopted an unconventional approach to corporate awareness through JXG (Janashakthi Group) Sri Lanka’s ‘We’re Sure You’re Not Aware of Us’. The campaign successfully transformed attention into awareness, earning Black Dragons for Innovative Idea or Concept and Social Media.
Meanwhile, ‘Dengeez 2.0’, developed for Softlogic Life, continued the brand’s unconventional approach to dengue awareness. The campaign earned a Black Dragon for Innovative Idea or Concept, further demonstrating Shift Group’s ability to approach familiar social issues through distinctive creative ideas.
Reflecting on the recognition, Shift Group CEO Sujeewa Samarasekera and Managing Director Chrishani Kotalawela said, “These wins are a reflection of what happens when strong client partnerships meet courageous thinking and an exceptional team.”
Managing Partner and Chief Creative Officer Sandun Lakmal said the campaigns provided an opportunity to address social issues while finding new ways to connect with audiences.
“These campaigns allowed us to use creativity to challenge social norms, shine a light on important issues and find unexpected ways to engage people,” he said.
Shift Solutions CEO Charitha Waidyaratne added that the recognition reflected the dedication and determination of the wider team.
“The eight wins are a tremendous achievement for the team and a testament to their passion, resilience and willingness to push beyond the obvious,” he said.
The recognition at The Dragons of Sri Lanka 2026 adds to Shift Group’s growing body of work, with the agency continuing to use creative thinking to address social issues, strengthen brand communication and develop campaigns that stand out in an increasingly competitive advertising landscape.
