Softlogic Life has added another international accolade to its record in life insurance sales, with Sajeewa Pushpitha being named Rookie Insurance Agency Leader of the Year at the 11th Asia Trusted Life Agents & Advisers Awards 2026.
The award was presented at a ceremony held recently in Bangkok, Thailand, where Pushpitha was selected ahead of fellow finalists Carolyn Xu and Liv Huang of AIA International Limited.
The Rookie Insurance Agency Leader of the Year award recognises agency leaders with less than five years of managerial experience who demonstrate strong performance in areas such as sales production, recruitment, leadership, operational systems, professionalism and contribution to the insurance industry.
Pushpitha’s latest regional recognition follows his success at the eighth Asia Trusted Life Agents & Advisers Awards in 2023, where he won the Insurance Agent of the Year title. Prior to that achievement, he had been named among the category’s top-five finalists for three consecutive years.
Commenting on the latest achievement, Softlogic Life Managing Director Iftikar Ahamed said the recognition reflects Pushpitha’s continued commitment to maintaining high professional standards.
Pushpitha has more than two decades of experience in the life insurance industry and has built an extensive record of professional achievements. He is also an active member of the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT), with 16 MDRT qualifications, including eight Top of the Table recognitions. Softlogic Life said this is the highest number of Top of the Table recognitions held by an individual within the company.
Softlogic Life Deputy CEO Indu Attygala expressed pride in Pushpitha’s achievement, noting its significance for both the company and Sri Lanka.
Pushpitha also acknowledged the support of the Agency Premier Channel and Softlogic Life, expressing appreciation for their continued trust and support throughout his professional journey.
The latest award further adds to Softlogic Life’s record of international recognition in life insurance sales leadership and highlights the achievements of professionals representing the company on regional platforms.
