Digital Summit Asia to position Sri Lanka as Regional Digital Hub

The Digital Marketing Association of Sri Lanka (DMASL) has officially announced the return of Digital Summit Asia – Sri Lanka 2026, scheduled to take place from 1–2 October at Water’s Edge, Colombo, with an exclusive C-Suite Event planned for 30 September.

Returning with a renewed regional identity and a broader international vision, the summit will bring together leading marketers, creators, innovators, entrepreneurs, technology leaders, policymakers and digital professionals from across Asia. The event will provide a platform for industry leaders to exchange ideas, establish partnerships and explore opportunities shaping the future of the digital economy.

Building on the success of previous editions, Digital Summit Asia – Sri Lanka 2026 aims to further strengthen Sri Lanka’s position as a destination for digital innovation, collaboration and regional thought leadership.

The Epicentre. A Mind That Forms

This year’s summit will be held under the theme “The Epicentre. A Mind That Forms,” reflecting the belief that transformative ideas emerge when diverse minds, industries and cultures come together to challenge conventions, exchange perspectives and drive progress.

Digital Summit Asia aims to become that epicentre — a space where conversations lead to collaboration, ideas develop into action and innovation helps shape the future of Asia’s digital economy.

Positioning Sri Lanka as a Regional Digital Hub

As Asia continues to drive global developments in technology, creativity and digital transformation, Digital Summit Asia – Sri Lanka 2026 seeks to strengthen cross-border collaboration while positioning Sri Lanka as a strategic meeting point for the region’s expanding digital ecosystem.

The summit will feature regional and international speakers alongside leading Sri Lankan industry experts, creating opportunities for delegates to learn from global perspectives while building meaningful professional connections and long-term partnerships.

The event is also expanding its international footprint through strategic collaborations with globally recognised organisations, including ADFEST, while bringing together an expanding network of local industry partners. These collaborations support the summit’s broader ambition of creating meaningful regional connections and showcasing Sri Lanka’s growing capabilities across the global digital landscape.

DMASL President Arjun Jeger said the summit represents the next stage of the organisation’s regional ambitions. According to Jeger, DMASL has spent the past three years building a strong platform within Sri Lanka and now aims to connect the local industry more meaningfully with the wider Asian market.

He noted that as Asia increasingly shapes the future of digital technology and creativity, Sri Lanka has an important role to play as a meeting point for ideas, talent and opportunities from across the region.

Gayathri Seneviratne, Vice President and Summit Co-Chair, said Digital Summit Asia 2026 is focused on creating meaningful connections that continue beyond the event itself. By bringing regional and global voices together with Sri Lanka’s digital community, the summit aims to create an environment where ideas, innovation and partnerships can develop while strengthening the country’s reputation as a destination for digital excellence.

Meanwhile, Shalendra Mendis, Vice President and Summit Co-Chair, said the organisers aim to create an experience that is both globally relevant and locally impactful. The programme will combine international speakers, cross-industry discussions, practical workshops and networking opportunities, with an emphasis on providing delegates with perspectives and ideas they can apply immediately.

A Platform for Learning, Collaboration and Innovation

Over two days, Digital Summit Asia – Sri Lanka 2026 will offer an immersive programme featuring keynote presentations from internationally recognised speakers, regional thought leaders, technical breakout sessions, workshops, executive networking opportunities and interactive brand showcases.

The summit will examine some of the most significant developments influencing the digital economy, including artificial intelligence, digital marketing, fintech, tourism, e-commerce, media, martech, data and analytics, content and creativity, digital transformation, entrepreneurship and emerging technologies.

By bringing together professionals and decision-makers from multiple industries, the event aims to encourage knowledge sharing, cross-sector collaboration and discussions around the technologies and business trends shaping Asia’s digital future.

As Digital Summit Asia – Sri Lanka enters its next chapter, the summit is positioned not only as an industry gathering but also as a platform for strengthening Sri Lanka’s role within the region’s rapidly evolving digital ecosystem. The organisers expect the event to create new opportunities for learning, collaboration, investment and innovation while connecting Sri Lankan talent and businesses with regional and international markets.

Registration details, speaker announcements, partnership opportunities and programme updates are expected to be released in the coming weeks through the official Digital Summit Asia channels.
