Gamma Interpharm enters Cambodia

Gamma Interpharm Ltd. has commenced exports of Sri Lankan-manufactured pharmaceuticals to Cambodia.

The company launched its first pharmaceutical exports to Cambodia on 14 August at its manufacturing facility, in the presence of stakeholders and employees.

The entry into Cambodia forms part of Gamma Interpharm’s broader strategy to expand its international footprint and establish locally manufactured pharmaceutical products in overseas markets.

With a heritage shaped by associations with Warner Lambert Inc. and Pfizer Inc., USA, Gamma Interpharm has evolved over six decades as a Sri Lankan pharmaceutical manufacturer, progressively strengthening its manufacturing, quality assurance and analytical capabilities.

The company said the latest export milestone was driven by the vision and leadership of Chairman Kalana Hewamallika, who has focused on creating opportunities for Sri Lankan-manufactured pharmaceuticals in international markets.
