Regen Renewables and Suntech Power to drive SL’s renewable energy growth

Regen Renewables (Pvt) Ltd is reaffirming its long-standing partnership with Suntech Power, demonstrating a shared commitment to accelerating the country’s transition towards clean energy.

The milestone was celebrated during Suntech Power’s 25th anniversary celebrations, held alongside InterSolar Europe 2026 in Germany, where the Directors of Regen Renewables were invited as guests in recognition of their longstanding partnership and contribution to expanding Suntech’s presence in Sri Lanka. 

The celebration also marked a significant milestone in Suntech’s growth journey with its strategic partnership with HYSOLAR, strengthening its position as a global industry leader.  Suntech has also earned consistent recognition as one of Bloomberg NEF’s Top 10 Most Bankable PV Brands, reflecting the high level of confidence that financial institutions, developers, and investors place in the company’s products, performance, and long-term reliability.

With over 25 years of photovoltaic expertise, more than 55 GW of modules supplied across over 100 countries, and a portfolio of landmark projects – including Germany’s largest floating solar plant, Japan’s Kanzaki Utility PV Plant, South Africa’s 250 MW Kimberley Droogfontein Solar Plant, San Francisco International Airport Terminal 3, IKEA MLFU Sydney and the Beijing International Stadium BIPV Project, Suntech continues to strengthen its global leadership through innovations such as its Ultra T 3.0 high-efficiency quarter-cut modules, delivering reliable and sustainable clean energy solutions worldwide.

For more than fourteen years, Regen Renewables has served as the authorised agent for Suntech Power in Sri Lanka, delivering world-class solar technology to residential, commercial, and industrial customers.
