Swisstek currently operates through four key business platforms, namely construction materials, aluminium systems and solutions, integrated roofing and cladding solutions, and premium flooring solutions. Collectively, these areas enable the company to address a wide range of requirements across residential, commercial, hospitality and mixed-use developments.
Daminda Perera, Group Managing Director of Swisstek (Ceylon) PLC and Swisstek Aluminium Ltd, said the company has moved beyond its origins as a single-category manufacturer and is now focused on bringing its wider capabilities together to create greater value for customers.

We have built capabilities across multiple areas of the construction value chain and our opportunity now is to bring those capabilities together in a way that creates greater value for our customers. As we look ahead, our focus is on strengthening what we manufacture, deepening our technical capabilities and expanding the markets we serve, while maintaining the quality and discipline that have shaped Swisstek for nearly six decades,” Perera said.
Manufacturing continues to play a central role in Swisstek’s operations. The group currently has three manufacturing facilities with a combined annual production capacity of approximately 100,000 MT and employs more than 1,300 people.
This manufacturing infrastructure supports the company’s product development, quality assurance, technical consistency and ability to maintain reliable supply across its diverse portfolio.
Swisstek’s technical expertise covers areas including aluminium extrusion, architectural systems, roofing, waterproofing, surface preparation, flooring and quality assurance. These capabilities are supported by relevant local and international certifications and standards, reinforcing the company’s focus on maintaining consistent product and service quality.
The company’s solutions have been used across a range of notable developments in Sri Lanka, while its international operations currently extend to eight markets. This overseas presence builds on Swisstek’s long-standing export experience, which was established through its premium timber flooring business.
