Rush Lanka Group has reached another significant milestone, with its flagship residential development Rush Metropolis in Dehiwala recently receiving the approval from the Board of Investment (BOI) of Sri Lanka.
The approval reinforces the company’s commitment to developing high-quality residential projects that meet stringent regulatory and governance standards while offering greater confidence to the homebuyers and investors.
The official recognition was received at the BOI, with Rush Lanka Managing Director Sabeer Iqbal, Director Zaid Ariff, General Manager Irfan Rafeek and Finance Manager Zulfihar Ali representing the company.
Rush Metropolis is set to redefine urban living in Dehiwala as the area’s first high-rise residential development. Comprising 125 contemporary apartments, the project combines modern architecture with lifestyle-focused amenities, including a swimming pool, children’s pool, fully-equipped gymnasium, dedicated children’s play area and an exclusive rooftop entertainment space designed to foster community living.
Ariff said, “At Rush Lanka Group, transparency and regulatory compliance have always been at the heart of how we build. From CIDA LB1 grading to ISO certification and Certificates of Conformity, we believe the buyers deserve to make informed decisions backed by genuine credentials—not just promises. Receiving the BOI approval for Rush Metropolis is another affirmation of our commitment to delivering developments that meet the highest standards of quality, governance and long-term value,” he said.
Granted under the Board of Investment Law No. 4 of 1978, the BOI approval confirms that a project has undergone rigorous evaluation and is recognised as a BOI-endorsed investment, with approved developers having to comply with defined legal and regulatory requirements while meeting the established investment criteria.
