Representing the largest recent investment in the Eastern Province’s textile sector, the state-of-the-art facility is engineered to deliver high-performance knitting, dyeing, and finishing operations built on eco-friendly technology.
Driving regional growth and supply-chain integration
Committed to fostering a balanced regional development, the project has already generated over 350 direct employment opportunities for individuals in the Batticaloa District, offering stable and dignified career opportunities closer to home.
Beyond direct employment, the facility has revitalized the regional micro-economy. By integrating local service providers for daily operational logistics including employee transport, catering and accommodation, the facility indirectly impacts a substantial number of community members, breathing fresh economic vigour into Eravur Pattu.
Furthermore, by establishing advanced local fabric production, the venture contributes directly to national macroeconomic stability by reducing foreign exchange outflow on imported fabrics.
