The Sri Lanka Association for Software and Services Companies (SLASSCOM) has announced the appointment of its Board of Directors and General Council for the 2026/27 term.
Representing over 300 member companies that collectively contribute approximately 90 percent of Sri Lanka’s Knowledge and Innovation sector export revenue, SLASSCOM continues to serve as the leading voice of the country’s knowledge and innovation sector.
The Office Bearers for the 2026/27 term are Chairperson Sampath Jayasundara, Director/CEO of hSenid Business Solutions; Vice Chairperson 1 Haridhu Abeygoonaratne, Managing Director of SimCentric Technologies; Vice Chairperson 2 Sanjini Munaweera, Regional Head South Asia – Customer Engagement Solutions at ADA; Director Finance Bimal Gunapala, VP Engineering at Global Frontiers; and Director Operations Shanaka Fernando, Managing Director/Country Head of WNS Sri Lanka. The newly appointed Board Directors, includes Thilanka Jayathilake, VP Human Resources at IFS R&D International; Denver De Zylva, Co-Country Head at Virtusa; Zahra Cader, ESG, Government and Public Sector Leader at Deloitte; Omar Hassen, Country Lead at HCL Tech; Tharindra Jayamaha, Director Quality at 99x; Thushera Kawdawatte, Managing Director at Sysco LABS; and Arjuna Amarasinghe, Director/Representative at Covalent Systems.
