IMF staff to visit Sri Lanka from June 24 to 30

An International Monetary Fund (IMF) delegation headed by IMF Mission Chief for Sri Lanka, Evan Papageorgiou, will visit the country from June 24 to 30 to conduct a staff-level review of Sri Lanka’s ongoing economic reform programme.

During the visit, the IMF team is expected to meet with government officials and other key stakeholders to assess recent economic developments and evaluate progress made under the reform agenda.

Papageorgiou said the delegation looks forward to engaging in constructive discussions throughout the week-long mission.
