It often starts with a simple thought — “I want to do something of my own.”
For some, it is launching a business. For others, it is building a career that actually creates value. But somewhere between that idea and execution, most people feel stuck — unsure where to begin, what works, and what truly drives results in today’s fast-moving digital world.
This is exactly where the Digital Marketing & Entrepreneurship Workshop steps in.
On Saturday, 9th May 2026, a group of aspiring entrepreneurs, students, and professionals will gather at the ANC Building, Duplication Road, not just to attend another session — but to gain clarity, direction, and practical understanding. The workshop runs from 2.30 PM to 5.30 PM, with participants requested to be seated by 2.15 PM to ensure a prompt start.
What makes this session different is its focus. This is not about abstract theories or textbook definitions. It is about how marketing actually works in the real world — how ideas are turned into businesses, how brands attract attention, and more importantly, how they convert that attention into revenue.

At the center of this experience is Ms. Onali Tilakaratna, a name that carries significant weight in Sri Lanka’s marketing and education landscape. With a career that spans leadership roles such as Country Manager of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) and Principal of Alethia International School, she brings with her a depth of knowledge that is both strategic and practical. Her sessions are known for one key quality — relevance. She speaks not just from theory, but from experience shaped across industries and international platforms.
Complementing this perspective is Veteran Lecturer Mohamed Roshan, who will add a grounded dimension to the session by sharing insights drawn from years of teaching and industry engagement. His contribution is expected to bridge the gap between learning and application — a gap many struggle to cross.
As participants take their seats that afternoon, the real value will not just come from listening, but from engaging — asking questions, challenging ideas, and connecting with others who are on a similar journey. Because often, growth happens not only from what is taught on stage, but from the conversations that follow.
For those who have registered, this is more than just a free workshop. It is a window into understanding how modern marketing and entrepreneurship truly function — and how those principles can be applied in a practical, meaningful way.

On the 9th of May, the room will be filled with individuals at different stages of their journey — but with one thing in common: the intention to move forward.
